Our Story Begins with Legacy
At Deepali Tholia Jewels, every creation is rooted in heritage and guided by purpose. We invite you to discover the story behind our lineage, our craft, and the quiet power of meaningful jewellery.
The Tholia Legacy
The name Tholia has been part of Jaipur’s jewellery heritage for over a century — known for refined craftsmanship, ethical trade, and royal patronage.
The legacy began with Seth Banji Lal Tholia in the late 1800s. A visionary and pioneer, he was one of the first exporters of emeralds from India, with international ties to houses in London and Paris. He served the royal court of Jaipur, advised Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh, and co-founded the Jaipur Jewellers Association in 1928.
Generations followed with equal distinction — notably Sunder Lal Tholia, dubbed the Emerald King, who led the family into Delhi and served as president of the association for over 20 years.
Today, the Tholia name stands not only for jewellery — but for legacy, trust, and cultural permanence. It is a tradition that I, as a designer, am proud to carry forward in my own way.
About me
I am Deepali Tholia — a designer, curator, and custodian of a jewellery lineage that traces its roots to the royal ateliers of Jaipur.
Raised within the legacy of the Tholia family, whose name has long been synonymous with exceptional craftsmanship and discerning clientele, my journey in jewellery spans over three decades.
I have collaborated with global tastemakers such as Holly Dyment and Carla Rockmore, and my work has travelled far beyond borders — adorning women of style, influence, and quiet power.
Today, under my own name, I offer something more intimate: a collection of custom-created, export-quality fine jewellery, where every piece reflects a deep reverence for technique, material, and meaning.
This is jewellery not made for the masses — but for those who understand the language of refinement.
